The school year has started, and CU-EWB has already hit the ground running! We have met so many new faces, reunited with old ones, and are already in the midst of so many exciting projects. Here’s a look back at what we’ve been up to this month:

Fall Bootcamp 2025

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for our annual CU-EWB Bootcamp! We loved seeing everyone’s energy, creativity, and teamwork come to life through our hands-on engineering challenges — from breadboard LED races to DIY design projects. It was amazing to meet so many new members and reconnect with returning ones.  Here are some awesome photos of everyone and their projects!

A big highlight of the event was hearing from our Travel Team, who shared stories and insights from their summer trip to Ghana during a live Q&A session. We’re so grateful to everyone who participated and asked thoughtful questions.

To anyone who would like to look through the information again, here are the Bootcamp slides. The slides include the link to becoming a member, AUTO-CAD workshop, and project-specific membership. If you have trouble accessing it, please email [email protected] or [email protected]

Couldn’t make it this time? Don’t worry, we have so many more exciting events planned for the rest of the semester. Stay tuned on Slack and keep up with our weekly newsletters for announcements and more opportunities to get involved!

AutoCAD Workshop

Our Obodan Chapter hosted a successful AutoCAD Workshop this month, which was an awesome opportunity for our members to sharpen their eye for design and add on to their skillset. CAD is a very important part of engineering projects across all spectrums, and we are all so excited to see where the team uses these skills next. Huge thanks to everyone who attended! For those who couldn’t make it, recordings and resources have been shared on Slack :)

Electrical Workshop

Meanwhile, the Mpakadan Chapter Tech Team led a fun and hands-on Electrical Workshop, where members got hands-on experience building circuits and learning key concepts in electrical engineering. Whether you were there to learn or just hang out, we hope you had a great time!

Career Fair Prep

With the career fair season in full swing, the Mpakadan Chapter also hosted a Career Fair Prep Session to help members polish resumes, practice elevator pitches, and feel confident going into their interviews. We loved seeing everyone come prepared and ready to grow professionally.

Safety Meeting

Our team also held a Safety Meeting to kick off the semester responsibly and make sure all members are up to date on safety protocols for our labs and project spaces — because great engineering always starts with safe engineering!

That wraps up our September! Thank you to everyone who participated, you all made this month an incredible start to the semester. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings!

Stay connected with us on Slack and Instagram, and keep an eye out for upcoming workshops, socials, and travel updates!
